Advantage Driver Training is a private professional driver training school offering classroom and behind the wheel lessons for teenagers and adults.

In addition, we offer the eight hour adult remedial course required by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles for reinstatement of license and two point credit.  This is sometimes required by employers, as well, for insurance purposes.

The school was founded in 1947 and has been operating under the current name since 1991.  We had been located in Clintonville since 1983, but moved in May 2006 to 700 Morse Rd. Suite 110.

Instructors who teach for us are licensed by the State of Ohio Department of Public Safety as Commercial Driving Instructors.  Each has completed a minimum of 40 hours of training before being licensed.  Each instructor carries his/her instructing license while working and must display it upon request of student and/or parents.

The automobiles we use are specially equipped for driver training with an auxiliary brake and extra mirrors.  Our cars are generally white in color and have the "Advantage Driving School" logo on the sides.  They also have"Student Driver" on the front and back.  We use compact sized cars for ease of learning.

All scheduling is done at our administrative office at 700 Morse Rd. Suite 110 in Columbus (Clintonville).
